Many Animal Husbandry related activities and implementation of schemes are being carried out by the Animal Husbandry Department. Various projects and schemes are being undertaken by the department such as Veterinary and Animal Breeding services, Schemes for poultry development, fodder development, sheep development, goat development, animal exhibition, control of infectious animal diseases, animal health project, special component schemes and establishing markets for selling animals and animal products. CVCC (Centralized Veterinary Call Center) is a project that looks into an animal’s health and steps that need to be taken for its treatment. CVCC is a web and android based application which is used to book calls for animal treatment and give service to the animals at farmer’s doorstep to make them disease free. Moreover, digitalize systems for veterinary doctors to treat animals and maintain animal history records.
